2016-06-23

Residential Care Home "Syrena," which is run by the City of Warsaw, has been trailblazing the use of innovative IT solutions for adult social care since the beginning of this year. SupraCare - a care management system that allows providers to optimize staff utilization while offering more individualized services – offered by PCG Polska in cooperation with a company itCraft is one of the piloted solutions. Other solutions are wrist bands for measuring residents' vital signs and electronic pens that support creation of e‑documents. On June 8, DPS Syrena’s employees had an opportunity to present these innovations to the President of Warsaw, Ms Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz and to Mr Tomasz Pactwa, responsible for social support and social projects in the City of Warsaw during a press conference. The City's President, Hanna Gronkiewicz‑Waltz, announced that the City of Warsaw is now looking into integrating these systems and implementing them in all residential care homes in Warsaw. This means that PCG has a chance to become one of Poland's care innovation leaders, delivering IT solutions that will revolutionize services provided to almost 3,000 residential care home residents in Warsaw.
