The second edition of the LUMEN Leaders in University Management” Conference will be held on
14 and 15 November 2016 at the Courtyard by Marriott Airport Hotel in Warsaw.
LUMEN is an idea aiming at the identification and promotion of best practice in the area of professional university management. The first edition of the conference, combined with a competition for management leaders, was attended by over 200 guests from Poland and from abroad. Rectors, managers and teams from 11 Polish universities received awards in 5 areas of professional university management.
This year, the conference will be a platform for debate on the
higher education reform carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and for the presentation of the most unique and efficient management solutions elaborated by the leading Polish and foreign universities.
On the first day of the conference, an evening
Gala Dinner, hosted by Mrs Grażyna Torbicka, will be held. During the gala, awards will be granted to the secondary schools which prepared the best applicants for the universities participating in the nationwide pilot system of solutions supporting student enrollment and retention, implemented by PCG under the patronage of the Polish Rectors Foundation.
