EdPlan™ is the first web-based system in Poland that supports schools in organizing special education processes for students in accordance with the most recent regulations enacted in November 2010. EdPlan™ helps schools to create electronically special education documentation, which provides secure access to students' records and full compliance with the the law.
In light of the growing population of SEN students and scarce financial and human resources at hand, local Assessment Centers are required to organize their operations effectively and efficiently. Creating, managing and archiving hundreds of special education eligibility determinations becomes a challenge, given quick turnaround and strict data security requirements. EdPlan™ helps local Assessment Centers to generate any type of a required eligibility determination for a student, reduces the administrative burden put on the staff members and provides fully secure access to student information.
It is believed that gifted students do not need any support or assistance, as they are usually very successful at school and will most likely achieve success in their professional life. Nothing could be further from the truth. Teachers, as well as those responsible for educating, should be aware that the gifted students have special educational needs and might require individually-based modifications.
